Limited Product Warranty
Clear View Central Systems offers a Limited Lifetime Warranty on all parts and mechanisms on all of its retractable screen systems to be free of defects in material and workmanship. This warranty expressly excludes the screen material itself. The warranty is extended to the original purchaser, whose name appears on the warranty certificate/signed invoice and is in effect at the location also shown on the warranty certificate. This warranty applies only to residential installations and is not transferable. The word “defect (s)” as used in this warranty, is defined as imperfections that impair the functionality of the retractable system. Implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the terms of this warranty. The lifetime warranty is for all aluminum parts and Powder Coating. This does not cover the cost of labor, applicable taxes, shipping or other consequential expenses related to the removal, return or reinstallation. The Warranty shall not apply if the product has been subject to abuse, fire, flood misuse, negligence, modification, corrosive environments, vandalism, or acts of God.
Southeast Retractable Systems Inc. Obligation to Purchaser:
Clear View Central Systems or its designated Dealer will replace any part of its retractable screen system found to be defective in factory workmanship or factory materials without charge to the original purchaser as specified in the warranty.
Professional Installation is Required:
All Retractable Screen System(s), manual or motorized, must be professionally installed by a qualified Southeast Retractable Systems approved installer and cannot be altered in any way by the end user. Retractable Screen Systems not installed by a qualified Southeast Retractable Systems approved installer are not covered by this warranty. Repairs or modifications made by end user voids this warranty
Exclusions:
The actual Screen Mesh does not apply under the Limited Lifetime Warranty. Defective or non-Confirming goods will be replaced by the company up to 10 years from the date of installation. The warranty shall not apply if the product has been subject to abuse, fire, flood, misuse, negligence, improper installation, modification, corrosive environments, vandalism, or acts of God. This warranty does not cover any incidental, special or consequential damages, labor on location, service calls, reinstallation, or expenses involved in shipping packaging and returning goods.
From the time of installation until the owner transfers title to his home to another party, Clear View Central Systems will replace any part of the unit that is defective under the terms of this warranty free of charge. Screen mesh is specifically excluded in this warranty.
All fasteners are covered under this warranty for corrosion only and will only be replaced on the basis of evidence of corrosion, not from drill/screw driver bit damage during installation or removal.
THIS WARRANTY IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, ADDITIONALLY, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
